La réponse à vos questions de Google

(English below)

**************

We have a new winner in terms of weird google searches that led to this blog. Someone (in Chicoutimi no less) was looking for "cause de transsexualisme a montreal" (without the quotes). It turns out I mentioned some female-to-male tranny in a post where I was talking about a certain room in one of the basements of McGill, room that has been known to be sort of a black hole for certain students back in the day. I was describing the crew of misfits that inhabited the place in the days when I stopped going there. Note that I have nothing against transsexuals, that one person was just one among many weirdos that many saner people couldn't stand. Still, nothing as bad as a certain GG's silver medal winner with kosher microwave issues (if you touch it with the same finger as you touched something else, it will no longer be kosher, or sanitary for that matter).

Anywho, to answer another popular query that leads to my blog these days: Cadbury chocolates started in Birmingham, UK. Learn to check Wikipedia for this kind of thing...

Also, I don't know where to find all you can eat Korean BBQ in Montreal, but Maison Seoul on Sherbrooke is a pretty decent Korean restaurant there.

Finally, my most popular post is Return trip Kitchener-Montreal for 96 bucks. Apparently, many people want to know where to buy tickets to go from Montreal to Kitchener (or Toronto) and vice-versa, and how much they cost. Why these people come to my blog instead of clicking the obvious VIA Rail link is beyond me. But I can say this: click the VIA Rail link, they have the schedule, the price, and everything. No, you won't find two tickets for $96 canadian, but they have pretty good deals sometimes. Also, for the bus, check out Greyhound or something, I don't care. It's cheaper than the train but it's not worth it. I did Montreal-Toronto (and back) by bus and never again! Take the train, it's worth it, sometimes it's even cheaper than the bus. It's faster too.

  • Maybe if we spam your comments with other weird phrases you might get even more creative search terms. Or innocuous things like "numb anal ass"... Yeah.

  • I've been to the Birmingham Cadbury's factory (it is very close to where I grew up). The smell of chocolate is very strong, and you get to sample lots of chocolate, including liquid chocolate... yum!

It's interesting to see what brings people to your blog. Most people come to mine looking for low fat carrot cake recipes, or Carrie Underwood images.
