Un autre "winner"
(English below)
"in some ways i love everything cause it's less of a thing than like, less distinct, less particular. i like things that i like but i love everything. there's more choice in like cause ev".

We have a new champion in matters of google searches that led people to glimpse at my blog for a fraction of a second. To follow-up on these posts, the weirdest query that led here is this:
"in some ways i love everything cause it's less of a thing than like, less distinct, less particular. i like things that i like but i love everything. there's more choice in like cause ev".
It doesn't make any sense, so it's no surprise that it came from someone located in France. It appears that the internet and its intricacies are still very new to the French, just as it was nine years ago, the last time I was there. Maybe they're still stuck with Minitel, who knows? I just hope that by the next time I visit, they'll have left the third world, joined modern civilization and done away with squat toilets, but I highly doubt it.
Since my google-fu is ages ahead of whoever made that google search, I think I found what this silly person was looking for: an equally nonsensical YouTube video.
If you're waiting for my frozen Rideau Canal escapades (or ice-capades), it'll have to wait for another day. But I did, finally, get rid of our old shitty faulty lawnmower (last model still on the shelves at the end of last summer for a reason, the same reason they don't sell it anymore), and used the store credit to purchase a new lawnmower and lots of other things (OK, that old one was not only shitty but pricey, and you have to use all the credit at once). At least Canadian Tire has good customer service, unlike some other stores I will not name. So now we (and by "we", I mean mostly my better half, I gotta work in the summer, and go to Vancouver and Washington DC) can take care of our yard again. Yeah, the backyard is still all weeds. Speaking of random things, it turns out some high school suspicions I had were right. It's funny the things you learn on Facebook.
